Next the gallery would like to see images (photos) of the artwork -- photos of the front, the signature, back, details on the front, and of any inscriptions or labels on the back are very helpful. Sometimes, we can meet you at a location convenient to you so that we may view the painting in person.
What is the size of your painting excluding its frame please? Is it an oil on canvas, a watercolor or print?
Please submit ALL Birger Sandzen paintings for consideration regardless of condition -- we are very understanding that most all vintage paintings show wear and tear to a lesser or greater degree. Even paintings with significnt damage can still have considerable value.
We also would like to know the interesting history behind your painting, it is fascinating to us that each painting has a story to tell -- was it purchased directly from the artist, was it purchased at a gallery, did it descend in the family?
